Argentina Prices Part 3
June 29th 2009 18:03
The closer we got to the Bolivian border the more mountainous and beautiful the terrain became; and also the higher the proportion of indigenous people we encountered. This was a great part of our trip. Lots of countryside, small towns, few tourists, less threat of being mugged, room to roam and get stoned and lots of short bus journeys along winding mountain roads.
As usual our budget was $30 each per day, which makes $60 for the two of us. This gave us more than enough money and allowed us to save some money from our budget to spend on up-coming expensive tours and Brazil. At the end of the blog are the running totals

I got back to find my beer in the fridge was gone. I found a load of empties and brought them to the shop and got 3 free beers. It turned out a friend nicked the beer but he made up for it by giving me some gear. Read about it at Trippy Taveller in South America
